Tara Cheyne MLA, Minister for the Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Minister for City Services, Minister for Government Services and Regulatory Reform and Minister for Human Rights
Tara Cheyne is the Labor member for Ginninderra in the ACT Legislative Assembly. Tara was first elected to the Assembly in October 2016 aged 29. Following her re-election to the Assembly in October 2020, Tara has been appointed to Cabinet as Minister for the Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Minister for City Services, Minister for Government Services and Regulatory Reform and Minister for Human Rights.
Before entering the Assembly, Tara worked in the Commonwealth public service and was active in her local community, including serving on the Belconnen Arts Centre board and as Chair of the Belconnen Community Council. She was also well known for her popular blog In The Taratory promoting all things related to the Australian Capital Territory.
Tara has degrees in Journalism and Arts from the University of Queensland, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Canberra.

Refund policy
Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed
