Our speaker
Michael Ferguson is the Deputy Premier of Tasmania, Treasurer, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and Minister for Planning.
Michael currently serves the Tasmanian people as Deputy Premier, Treasurer, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, as well as Minister for Planning.
His previous service ministries include Finance, Local Government, Housing, State Growth, Health, Small Business, Science and Technology, and Police, Fire and Emergency Management, as well as Leader of the House.
From 2004 to 2007 Michael served as Federal Member for Bass. In that role he worked on a number of parliamentary and policy committees, secured record funding for health, road, infrastructure and education facilities, and helped improve shipping between Tasmania and the Bass Strait islands. Michael proudly served the Clifford Craig Foundation as CEO, advancing its mission for world-class medical research in Northern Tasmania and encouraging more specialists to the LGH.
In 2010 he was elected as a member of the Tasmanian Parliament and served as a Shadow Minister for four years. He was returned in both 2014 and 2018 as part of the Hodgman Liberal Government, and again at the 2021 election.

Refund policy
Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed
