Policy Workshop and Industry Luncheon with Peter Chandler (Darwin)

Roads Australia is pleased to host a special policy workshop and industry lunch in Darwin on Tuesday 28th July from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

The industry lunch guest speaker will the Hon. Peter Chandler MLA, Minister for Transport and Infrastructure. RA members and guests will have the opportunity to hear about the Northern Territory Government’s program priorities for the infrastructure sector and gain the Minister’s personal perspective on the role of government and the private sector in addressing the Territory’s current and future road transport challenges.

Directly preceding the lunch, there will be an interactive policy workshop led by Clare Gardiner-Barnes, Chief Executive, Department of Transport, Northern Territory. Clare will outline the Developing Northern Australia white paper, focussing on opportunities for transport in the Territory. This will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
