With Bachelor degrees in Economics and Arts, Neil also holds qualifications in management, industrial relations and human resources.
As General Manager (Strategic Policy & Development), Neil is responsible for Strategic Policy, Strategic Directions, Information Policy and Planning, Organisational Development and Organisational Capability. Neil has more than 30 years senior executive experience in both the public and private sectors.
Neil is a Director and Past Chairman of ARRB Transport Research Ltd and has represented Australia on the International Governing Council for the Roads Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia, the World Roads Association (PIARC) and IRF.
He is a fellow of Australian Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Transport and Australian Institute of Company Directors

Professor Charles is Professor of Transport Strategy and Director of the Centre for Transport Strategy at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
Professor Charles has a broad experience in transport strategy roles and has been responsible for transport strategy and policy initiatives across Australia. His interests are in transport strategy development and implementation, including intelligent transport systems, traffic and incident management, institutional strengthening and professional capability development.
He has undertaken senior management roles in Western Australia and New South Wales’ state road agencies, AUSTROADS, and a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.
He has qualifications in engineering, and public and business management.

In 1990 he accepted appointment as Principle Consultant, Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Workplace Relations Division.
Peter was appointed Executive Director of the Queensland Road Transport Association, now the Queensland Trucking Association in October 1995. He is currently:
He is a member of a number of Government Consultative Committees and is actively involved in Policy Development within the Australian Trucking Association.
Economic & Public Policy Manager, RACQ

Ken Willett has practised as an economist for about 35 years and as a corporate and project finance adviser for 15 of those years. During most of his career, he specialised in policy issues in respect of natural resources and microeconomic reform. His corporate and project finance experience related mainly to natural resource-based sectors.
Ken worked in policy advisory positions in state government departments in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia for 19 years. His last public sector role was Deputy Chief Executive, Department of Resources Development, Western Australia.
Subsequently, he worked as a Director in large and small merchant banks and government advisory firms in Perth and Brisbane. He focused particularly on economic, finance and strategic issues in natural resource-based sectors, sustainable development issues, and microeconomic reform issues. Over the past six years, he has taken an increasing interest in infrastructure sectors.
Ken has written several published articles on mining taxation and royalties, allocation of exploration and mining tenements, and effects of microeconomic reform or lack thereof on natural resource based sectors. In 2002, he completed a major work, Managing Australian Mineral Wealth for Sustainable Development for the International Institute for Environment and Development in London.Ken joined RACQ in October 2002. Since then, he has been involved in a range of public issues in the transport sector. He has taken particular interest in formulation of a package of policy measures to deal with the difficult problem of traffic congestion. He has written several conference papers and short published articles on tackling congestion.
