Roads Australia
A special meeting of the Roads Policy Chapters will be held.
The first session will provide an update of the progress of the various state government departments in preparing their response to the COAG National Transport Plan.
The various focus areas of the National Transport Plan have not progressed to the same level and this briefing, with three guest speakers, will provide an insight into exactly what stage the key relevant areas are at and how Roads Australia members and policy chapters can have an impact.
The first session will also provide a progress report on the development of the Roads Australia policy chapters.
The second session will be a panel discussion looking at the relationship and roles of the key players in the National Transport Plan. The Department of Infrastructure, the National Transport Commission and a representative from the state government have been invited to form the panel.
Marko Misko (Clayton Utz) will chair the panel and it promises to be an informative and entertaining session.
