South Australian Lunch fills the Ballroom

The South Australian Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Energy, the Hon Patrick Conlon addressed ARF Members in Adelaide on 1 September.

The Minister spoke about his priorities for road transport in South Australia and commented on a range of current issues.  The atmosphere was definitely upbeat about prospects for the industry in terms of major projects in the pipeline for South Australia.

ARF member, Dr David Cruickshanks-Boyd of Parsons Brinckerhoff moved the vote of thanks.

ARF Chief Executive, Ian Webb, said he was delighted with the support for the lunch which was attended by 57 members and guests.

“This was the third members’ lunch in Adelaide since ARF was reconstituted as the Forum,” Ian Webb said. “It followed a small planning lunch earlier in the year based around a core group of members.  We particularly appreciate the support received at the recent lunch from Parsons Brinckerhoff, ARRB, the Department of Transport, Tonkin Consulting, Abigroup and the RAA.”
