Mr Ian Gillespie, CEO, RACQ

Ian Gillespie RACQMr Ian Gillespie is Chief Executive Officer of the RACQ (The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland Limited) which celebrated its centenary in 2005 and covers approximately 1.2 million members.

Ian is a Director of RACQ Insurance Ltd, a personal line insurer that provides home/vehicle coverage to over one million policy holders.  He is also a Director of the Australia Automobile Association (AAA), Australian Motoring Services Pty Ltd (AMS) and Indigo Pacific Capital Limited, as well as a number of subsidiary companies associated with the RACQ and AMS.

Prior to joining RACQ, Ian spent 30 years working in a broad range of industries in Australian and internationally at CEO and senior executive level, most recently in the defence technology sector.  His career includes roles in corporate law, HR, business management and private equity investment.  Ian's qualifications are BA, DipLaws (BAB); FAIM; MAICD; FCEOI.  Received the 2008 AIM Professional Manager of the Year Award for Queensland.

He is a keen sailor and rugby union supporter.

BOOKING POLICY

Event Booking and Cancellation Policy

Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event.  Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Event Manager. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email.  Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%.   No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
