The Hon Cameron Dick - Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning

Cameron entered State Parliament in 2009 and had the unique privilege of serving as a first-term Cabinet minister, holding office as Queensland Attorney-General and Minister for Industrial Relations, and later as Minister for Education.

He lost his seat in the 2012 state election but returned to Parliament in 2015, taking on the ministerial portfolios of Health and Ambulance Services. 

A year ago, Cameron assumed portfolio responsibility for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning in the second Palaszczuk Ministry.

In the mid-1990s, Cameron served as an international volunteer development worker in the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu under the Australian Volunteers Abroad program (now Australian Volunteers International). Prior to his election, he was a Barrister-at-Law in private practice at the Queensland Bar.  He is married with two sons.



Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event.  Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email.  Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%.   No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
