The Roads Australia Fellowship Program was established by our Board to inspire professional success in the next generation of industry leaders, and to assist them in developing leadership skills and networks.
This year's Annual Fellows Dinner will welcome the 2019 intake and mark the completion of the 2018 Program. It is open to all Fellows, past and present. We strongly encourage Alumni to attend to reconnect and share experiences from the Program.
We welcome guest speaker Maureen Thurston-Chartraw who will unleash the secret to Becoming future ready: from engineering to imagineering - unlocking innovation, by design.

Maureen Thurston-Chartraw, Global Director, Design to Innovate, Aurecon
Maureen is an industrial designer, educator, entrepreneur, lecturer, author and consultant who has been deploying ‘design thinking’ as a catalyst for change for over 30 years. Playing at the intersection between strategy, customer engagement, innovation, and transformation, she has a track record of helping organisations become future ready, by design.
After her role with Deloitte Australia to embed design thinking into the financial advisory firm, she joined Aurecon in 2015 as Global Director, Design to Innovate, with a mandate to liberate creativity, cultivate change and fuel top-line growth. In 2017, Aurecon emerged as a top innovator, ranking #5 in the Australian Financial Review’s Most Innovative Companies list.
Maureen is also the Chair of Australia’s Good Design Council, co-founder of the Design as Strategy Forum, and an adjunct professor at University of Technology, Sydney.
BOOKING POLICY AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are to be confirmed and paid in full 48 hours prior to the event. Bookings received 48 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed unless a confirmation has been received by the Events Director. Cancellations should be notified in writing by email. Cancellations received prior to one week before the event will receive a full refund less 25%. No refund will be applicable for cancellations received after one week prior to the event although substitute delegates are welcomed.
Please note: Anyone registering for and/or attending an RA event does so on the condition and understanding that his or her name, company/organisation and title will be provided to other attendees. Registration and/or attendance also implies consent to be photographed at the event, and for those photographs to be used in various media for the purposes of promotion and publicity. Attendees’ names, organisations and/or titles may also be included in accompanying captions.
