RA Safety Roundtable with Mike Stapleton
21/11/2018 14:00 to 21/11/2018 16:00
The safety of our families, friends and colleagues using or working on our roads is paramount.
But each year, we lose hundreds of loved ones and the economic price is skyrocketing – the cost of road crashes in Australia has risen to $27 billion per annum.
Earlier this year, the Transport and Infrastructure Council endorsed the National Road Safety Action Plan 2018–2020 (Action Plan). The Action Plan details priority national actions to be taken over the final three years of the National Road Safety Strategy 2011-2020, from 2018 to 2020.
For this exclusive roundtable, Mike Stapleton will lead a discussion on the strategies the Queensland Government is implementing and trialling to lower the road toll.
The discussion will not only focus on road safety and driver behaviour but also the safety of our roadworkers.
We look forward to your participation.
