The Office of Projects Victoria (OPV) was established in September 2016 to oversee the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects in Victoria. It provides advice on technical scope and cost elements of Victoria's infrastructure program, and works across three distinct streams - engineering; technical standards and assurance; and skills and performance.
OPV Advisory Board Chair, Ken Mathers, was recently joined by a new CEO, Kevin Doherty, to lead the organisation. We're delighted to host both of them at this member-only event.

Dr Kevin Doherty, CEO, Office of Projects Victoria
Kevin joined the OPV in July this year from NSW Roads and Maritime Services, where he was General Manager of the Western Sydney Project Office and responsible for the development and delivery of a multi-billion dollar portfolio of major projects.
Kevin has an extensive background in transport and infrastructure, including roles in New Zealand as Chief Infrastructure Officer with Auckland Transport and National Manager with the NZ Transport Agency.
He holds a civil engineering degree and a PhD in structural engineering from Adelaide University, and an MBA from Massey University in NZ.
Ken Mathers, Advisory Board Chair, Office of Projects Victoria
A civil engineer, Ken has more than 50 years’ experience in the planning, procurement and delivery of major road transport infrastructure.
He was the CEO of Linking Melbourne Authority for 12 years following an extensive career with the Melbourne City Link Authority and VicRoads.
He is a qualified company director and has served on the Boards of City North Infrastructure and Roads Australia, and is a John Shaw Medallist.
