RA Young Professionals Event (Perth)
29/11/2018 15:30 to 29/11/2018 17:30
Venue: Arup, Level 14 Exchange Tower 2, The Esplanade
Roads Australia's Young Professionals program is a fantastic and popular vehicle for our industry's youngest and brightest to network and learn from the best.
At this event, we'll hear from John Galvin, Alliance Manager for Clough, and John Anderson, EGM WA and South East Asia for John Holland, as they share lessons and insights from their respective lifetimes spent in construction.
Both Johns are well versed in what it takes to successfully deliver large-scale infrastructure projects - from the obvious (delivering on-time and on-budget) to the less clear cut (effective stakeholder engagement, building trust on and off site, managing corporate reputation and collaboration in contracts).
They'll discuss how the industry has changed, the challenges facing today’s Young Professionals, and what it takes to become an effective leader. There'll also an opportunity to submit anonymous questions, including ‘what you wish you could ask your boss'.
Please note: While we welcome attendance from all members, our YP network is targeted at the under-35 age bracket.
